Learn Arco Dance

Acro dance combines classical dance technique, precision acrobatics and floor gymnastics with classic dance. Quite athletic in nature, students will learn skills as well as choreography that seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics. This class will be highly beneficial for those interested in gymnastics, ariel dance and improving flexibility for dance technique. Some pre-requests to take this class include prior dance, movement, or gymnastics experience. Class commence periodically, so don’t hesitate to contact us for further information.

Intermediate Acro is the next level after an intro to Arco. Students should have basic skills like cartwheels and summersaults to be ready for this class. Its also highly recommended to be taking ballet technique to excel at intermediate Acro, as the focus is on learning Acro tricks and conditioning.

Typical class attire will include a body suit/leotard or fitted clothing, footless leggings or tights and of course, bare feet.

Arco dance is a lot of fun for people of all ages who want to blend dance with gymnastics-style tricks, including beginners and advanced students, as it builds strength, flexibility, as well as coordination in a fantastically entertaining, safe and challenging way. Classes are often structured for process at an individuals own pace, ensuring a tailored leaning journey for each student.
